Finally, the day has come when Bollywood’s favourite couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are finally walking down the aisle in a private ceremony in Italy. Considering the privacy, many arrangements have been done to ensure that no photos of the couple come out in the public radar. The two are solemnising their relationship after dating each other for six years. Though the two have always remained tight-lipped about their relationship, they did not shy away from indulging in public display of affection. Yesterday and today are their big days, and not many people have been invited for their wedding.
According to a report in In.Com, no Bollywood celeb has been given personal invites. Not even extended family members have been called for Ranveer and Deepika’s wedding. Going by the report, even Anil Kapoor and his family are not invited for Ranveer and Deepika’s wedding. Ranveer’s paternal grandfather and Sonam Kapoor’s maternal grandmother are siblings. Well, Anil Kapoor is upset with the fact that even being family member, he wasn’t called for the wedding. The Kapoor family is currently holidaying in London.
The report also suggests that YRF casting director Shanoo Sharma too was invited for the haldi ceremony. Ranveer was a big part of Sonam Kapoor’s wedding and his dance videos went viral. There were reports of Sonam attending the big day but seems like she is also not a part now. Prior to their wedding, Ranveer and Deepika did meet their mentors Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Sanjay and Farah Khan just to seek their blessings. Earlier reports suggested that the couple informed them that only family members have been invited.
Talking about the Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, they fell in love on the sets of Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela (2013), and on October 21, 2018, they issued a statement on social media confirming their wedding rumours. The venue for the DeepVeer shaadi is the famous luxury getaway Lake Como in Italy and all the wedding festivities will take place at Villa del Balbianello.
