Vidya Balan gives fitting response to journalist on question about her weight

Vidya Balan decided to teach a lesson to a male reporter, who asked her a rather strange question when she stepped out to promote Tumhari Sulu during an awards event.

The erring reporter asked Vidya when she would lose weight and tone her body down, in order to play a glamorous role. “It will be very nice if you can change your mindset about women than asking such questions,” she said with a chuckle.

The actress didn’t lose her temper, and in fact answered the question very calmly. “I’m happy with the kind of roles I’m doing. What’s the connection between women-centric roles and weight loss?” she quipped.

The actress is known for handling body-shaming issues with a smiling face and panache, like the role model that she is.
