Mumbai: When you remake a Mani Ratnam film, you have a lot of legacy and audience goodwill to live up to.

Shaad Ali, is so devoted to his mentor, Mani, that he's often take breaks from filmmaking and go assist the veteran filmmaker.

The director, who decided to remake Mani's Dulquer Salmaan-Nithya Menen starrer 'OK Kanmani,' into Hindi, he was faced with a lot of skepticism and even blatant criticism.

However, the first look posters of the film have been garnering immense appreciation for its appreciation.

But what struck us the most was the blatant similarities between 'Ok Jaanu,' starring the twosome, also reminds one of their earlier film together, 'Aasihqui 2,' which pretty much establishes them.

In both the posters, the twosome can be seen drenching in the rain, with nothing but a shirt and each other to save themselves.

Aditya and Shraddha had reportedly been dating during the filming of 'Aashiqui2,' and many others. The now iconic shirt lift scene keeps us wanting more from the two actors, who were reportedly dating back during the filming of the Mohit Suri directorial. However the two drifted apart and went different ways.

The two being the professionals that they are, haven't let their work affect their careers.
