After Shah Rukh, now Salman to star in a film titled Khan; Katrina could be lead

After Shah Rukh Khan worked in a film called My Name is Khan, Salman Khan is ready for his film, Khan. The film is being written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar for Salman’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri.

With Khan, Ali and Salman will be working together for the third time after Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. Interestingly two out of four films directed by Ali has seen Katrina Kaif as the heroine Ali’s debut film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan starred Imran Khan and Ali Zafar with Katrina in the lead.

“Atul wanted to start a good film and Salman wasn’t too happy with his choice of films. So, Salman requested Ali to do a film for him and he happily agreed. Salman’s combination with Katrina is working wonders and Ali agreed immediately to do Khan for Atul. The film will go on the floors next year and will ideally release in 2019,” informs a source.

Tiger Zinda Hai will release in Christmas and Salman will start shooting for Race 3. And that, effectively means that the scripting of Khan will begin. Sanskriti Media
