Mumbai: Horror films in Bollywood have historically been swimming in consistent mediocrity, with trope after trope being rehashed and re-introduced.
The latest offering is none other than the official remake of the cult Hollywood scary fare, 'Oculus'.
Real life siblings Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem play disturbed siblings in the film.
The horror affair, revolving around a deceptively haunted mirror, also has elements of thrill and suspense woven into the plot.
Helmed by Prawaal Raman, who last helmed the Randeep Hooda starrer 'Main Aur Charles,' has experimented with a genre he's quite familiar with.
The film, also starring Adil Hussain and Lisa Ray, is slated for a June 02 release.
