Exclusive: Rahul Bose's Poorna to tie up with airlines for all-India release

Hyderabad: Poorna, the film being made on the life of Everest climber Poorna Malavath, from Telangana state, is all set to tie up with IndiGo airlines as part of its nationwide release plans on March 31.

The film’s director and producer Rahul Bose and co-producer Amit Patni announced the tie up. Poorna tells the story of tribal girl Poorna Malavath, who climbed Mt Everest when she was just 13. The makers said on Wednesday: “The airline promises a top of the world experience. Also, IndiGo has been consistently recognising and respecting the incredible achievements of women.”

President of IndiGo airlines, Aditya Ghosh said it was an honour to be associated with the film. “Poorna’s exemplary determination, self-discipline and physical fitness is an inspiration for us all. I'm confident the movie will receive much love from moviegoers,” he said.

Poorna Malavath is being played by actress Aditi Inamdar. Earlier, Poorna revealed how she had trained for the mission.
