I think I've turned into a little woman spending so much time with them: Shah Rukh

The charming superstar speaks about why he finds women fascinating and what it does to him.

Mumbai: Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is popularly known for his charming smile amongst his wide female following. The King Khan has always set the big screen ablaze by intense romance with the leading ladies in his films. Women of all ages try to find Shah Rukh in their romantic partners. With his effortless charm on screen, he has set a high competition for other actors to do a romantic role.

Talking about his connection with women, the actor recently spoke with a leading tabloid, "I don’t talk to men—I don’t try to spend time with them. It’s boring! I’d rather be in the company of women. They have an inner strength in the face of ups and downs and I think I’ve turned into a little woman, spending so much time with them."

Shah Rukh also spoke about his legacy and the ambitions of making his studio bigger. He said, “I want to make the greatest studio the world has ever known, in the heart of Mumbai. If I look at highlights, I’ll just be resting on laurels, man. Anyone who works for a legacy, towards a legacy, is working too much in retrospect already. Trying to leave something behind for people to remember you by is silly - a tombstone should read, ‘I tried, that’s all.”

The actor also spoke candidly of his recent films that didn’t do well at the box office. He said, “I love what I do, and I make my choices based on how I feel. One day I’ll feel like an over-the-top comedy, so I’ll do it. I did Fan, and it failed. You can’t detest failure until it keeps happening to you. And I abhor it. But failure does keep me going.”

Shah Rukh Khan is currently filming Anand L. Rai’s next film alongside Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. The film will also feature Bollywood actresses like Kajol, Sridevi, Rani Mukerji, Karisma Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in guest appearance.

The actor, who is very excited about the upcoming film said, “It’s the most post-production-heavy film I’ve ever done or made. I don’t think anybody in the world has tried it yet.”

His next movie is expected to release sometime in next year.
