A photo of Vinod Khanna looking extremely frail in a hospital did the rounds on WhatsApp on Thursday. The 70-year-old actor and MP from Gurdaspur was admitted to H.N. Reliance Foundation and Research Centre in Mumbai due to “severe dehydration” according to his son Rahul Khanna, who has issued a statement earlier saying, “Dad was hospitalised on Friday for severe dehydration. The situation was quickly brought under control, he’s doing much better and the doctors are looking to discharge him soon. Our family is most grateful for the extraordinary care he’s been receiving at the hospital and we are touched by all the good wishes pouring in.”
There have also been reports surfacing that the actor is suffering from bladder cancer but there is no confirmation on the same.
