Akshay and Sonam express shock for their National Awards on Padman sets
Mumbai: Akshay Kumar and Sonam Kapoor have been shooting for their film 'Padman' in Madhya Pradesh’s Maheshwar, but the two would have definitely not expected some delightful news for both of them simultaneously on the sets.
Both the actors won their first National Awards as the 64th edition of the awards were announced in Delhi on Friday.
While Akshay won the Best Actor for his performance in 'Rustom', Sonam Kapoor received a special mention for her performance in 'Neerja.'
Sonam shared a funny picture on Instagram where she and Akshay act extremely shocked about their awards and in the caption, she wrote how shocked and grateful she was about the award.
Sonam, who is sharing screen space with Akshay for the second time after ‘Thank You’, is taking tabla lessons for her character in ‘Padman.’
