Karan's rant against Kangana, a well thought out step to please Hrithik Roshan?

Mumbai: Karan Johar may have taken Kangana Ranaut’s very public rant ( on his chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’) against his alleged nepotistic approach towards cinema very sportingly but when the Dharma honcho was given a platform to get back at her, Karan grabbed it like this was an opportunity of a lifetime which he wouldn’t miss for the world.

At a recent event in London, when the ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ Director was asked to share his thoughts on Kangana labelling him ‘the flag bearer of nepotism and a snooty mafia who is completely intolerant to outsiders’, Karan blatantly said he is done with her playing the victim card if she is so unhappy with the film fraternity’s treatment of her.

However, an industry insider reportedly told a daily that Karan’s anger or sharp choice of words stems out of his cinematic association with ‘silly ex’ Hrithik Roshan who is all set to team up with Dharma Productions for a big project. By dismissing Kangana’s thoughts on him or industry in general, Karan kind of showed his solidarity with the mega star who, we all know, had a very public fall out with the ‘Queen’ actress.

It is strange that Karan is accusing Kangana of playing the victim card a little too much when he himself has milked the ‘sexual orientation’ many a time.
