Yami Gautam and Pulkit Samrat have turned down a new movie script — which the two apparently liked — to avoid fuelling the fire around the loud whispers of their alleged affair.
The two actors have had a successful pairing stint on screen — with Sanam Re and Junooniyat — but did however, shy away from a third one to avoid further speculation over their growing proximity.
They have always denied talks about an affair which got further escalated after Pulkit’s wife, in an interview, accused Yami of playing truant in their marriage.
Says a source, “A debut director had approached the couple for his romantic film. The two even loved the concept, however, they said no to work together considering the recent fiasco. The director is looking for a fresh pairing now and will plan to roll the film in early 2017.”
