It seems more problems are in store for Udta Punjab. After the highly controversial censor issues, the movie’s promotion is in trouble with two of the lead actors Shahid and Kareena expressing reluctance to take part in the events. The former lovers are apparently finding it very difficult to be spotted “together” on the same stage.
The two had agreed to do the movie only because they had no combination scenes, a source says, adding, “Shahid and Kareena had reluctantly agreed to be together at the trailer launch, but made sure that Alia Bhatt stood between them. Still they were very uncomfortable. They have now instructed the marketing team not to club them together at any promotional event.”
Meanwhile, Alia has been asked to refrain from commenting on the censor issue and Diljit Dosanjh is quite busy with the promotions of his new Punjabi movie.
