Twinkle has explained everything to Aarav about topics like menstruation: Akshay

Akshay Kumar is indeed setting high standards in the industry by being associated with films based on social issues. After Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, he is now busy promoting Padman, which releases on Republic Day.

However, Akshay ensures that he isn’t just preaching to the public with such movies. When asked if he has discussed topics like menstruation with his son Aarav too, he replied positively. He says, “Twinkle (Khanna) has explained everything to him. We haven’t hidden anything from Aarav. We make sure that we talk to our children about these topics — there is nothing to be shy about,” he said, adding that the stigma surrounding menstruation needs to go. He smiles, “I don’t want to hide things from my children. I am not saying anything different to the world.”
