Here is what Deepika said about her rumoured fallout with Priyanka Chopra

Mumbai: It is said that once friends Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra are not in good terms anymore. Both the actresses are believed to be battling for the top-notch position in showbiz. And with Deepika announcing her Hollywood debut right after Priyanka announced hers, things are rumoured to have gotten even worse.

In an interview with a magazine, Deepika clarified that she has never tried competing with Priyanka as their journey to stardom is different. The ‘Piku’ star also pointed out that Priyanka and she have chosen completely different paths as the latter was still in school when Priyanka was crowned Miss World.

“What she wants from her career will be very different from what I want and that needs to be understood and respected”, Deepika said.

Deepika’s Hollywood debut ‘xxx: Return of Xander Cage’ will be released on January 19 next year and Priyanka’s ‘Baywatch’ will hit the screens on May 19, 2017.
