Sonam worried about Veere Di Wedding budget, tries cost-cutting moves?

Sonam Kapoor is rather concerned about her upcoming movie, Veere Di Wedding. And the reason is not because she has to work with a senior star like Kareena Kapoor Khan, who may well yank all the attention and limelight from her. She’s worried about the film’s budget going out of hands.

Sonam met her sister Rhea and director Shashanka Ghosh to try and work to cut down the budget.

“She wanted to make sure that they shot for fewer days, so that the budget could go down. Sonam also cut down on the more expensive days of shoots, ensuring that they manage to can these scenes at locations where the costing works out cheaper.

“She also sat and renegotiated deals with everyone, making sure that Veere Di Wedding is not an expensive film. It also makes certain that their P and A partner also is happy enough,” says our source.

The team of Veere Di Wedding is in the Indian capital at the moment, and the movie has gone on the floors after being delayed earlier due to Kareena’s pregnancy.
