Deepika Padukone’s Lungi Dance reigned over Bollywood for a long time. But now, this super hit song is apparently on its way to Hollywood. It will most probably be seen in upcoming film of the xXx franchise. This is thrilling as Deepika’s Hollywood debut was with Vin Diesel’s xXx: Return of Xander Cage. Though there has been no confirmation that the Indian actress will be part of another Hollywood film, there is some speculation as she’s currently in Los Angeles.
The rumour stems from a tweet by director of the series D.J. Caruso, who expressed his desire to end the upcoming film of the franchise with Lungi Dance. He had tweeted, “I want to end xxx4 with a Bollywood dance song. Led of course by @deepikapadukone. Lungi Dance. Something new? (sic)”
Apparently, a fan of Deepika’s had asked the director if the song would be part of the credits at the end and his tweet was in response to that.
One may recall how Dippy and Diesel sizzled on stage doing the ‘Lungi Dance’ number during the promotions for xXx: Return of Xander Cage in Mumbai last year.
