Businessman arrested for harassing, stalking yesteryear actress Zeenat Aman

Mumbai: The Juhu police on Thursday evening arrested city-based business Sarfaraz Mohammed (aka Aman Khanna) for allegedly harassing and stalking actor Zeenat Aman.

The complaint has been registered under sections 304 D (stalking) and 509 (insulting modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code.

The police said the two had known each other for a while, however, the relationship soured over some issues. After their break-up, Ms Aman stopped talking to Mohammed. But an irate and dejected Mohammed kept calling Ms Aman and following her.

After failing to convince Mohammed, the veteran actress approached the Juhu police and filed a complaint against him. He alleged that she registered a complaint against him because she did not want to return the money he asked for after the relationship turned sour. “I was in love with her but she was not serious. I did not approve of her other male friends but she would never listen and continued to be with them,” he said.
