Naseer has apologised and it's over, so move on: Akshay Kumar

The actor urged everyone to drop the issue upon being prodded on Naseeruddin Shah's comments on the late Rajesh Khanna.

Mumbai: Akshay Kumar has clarified that he’s got nothing more to add to the on-going controversy regarding Naseeruddin Shah’s comments on his late father-in-law and yesteryear's Bollywood superstar Rajesh Khanna.

"It's ok. Everything is over now, he (Naseeruddin) apologised. Let's move on," the ‘Airlift’ actor said in an interview, when asked about Shah's comments on Khanna.

Akshay wasn’t too pleased when there was further prodding on the issue. "He apologised and it's over. There is nothing so don't try to get something from me so that you (media) can write something," he added.

The superstar wants the matter to die and urges everyone to move on. "Let the industry be together... When someone has apologised, you should be gracious enough to say it's over," the 'Rowdy Rathore' star concluded.
