SIIMA: Tollywood, Sandalwood celebrate as Jr. NTR and Rakul take the trophy home

Legendary singer S P Balasubrahmanyam presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to actor Murali Mohan.

Mumbai: ​The sixth edition of the esteemed South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) commenced in Abu Dhabi amid much fanfare, on June 30. While the first day was dedicated to Tollywood and Sandalwood, the second day will see the giants of Kollywood and Mollywood.

The event was flanked by some terrific performances alongside the awards and festivities. A tribute was also paid to the late veteran Dasari Narayana Rao. Allu Sirish and Roshan hosted the do.

Legendary singer S P Balasubrahmanyam presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to actor Murali Mohan.

While the Best Actor award went to Jr. NTR, Rakul Preet Singh fetched the Best Actress nod.
