Thanks to the success and critical acclaim that Paa has earned, director R. Balki is one happy man. The maverick filmmaker is now all set to take a break and go on a holiday to Melbourne. The director who happens to be a cricket buff wants to watch the Boxing Day Test held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, which is one of Australia’s most popular sporting events.
“Balki enjoys watching live cricket. He’s excited about catching the Boxing Day Test matches,” said a source.

When contacted, Balki said, “I’m flying to Melbourne to watch the matches. Australia’s relaxed outdoor atmosphere adds to the sport’s popularity. People assume that the Boxing Day Test is a boxing match, I have a tough time explaining that it’s a cricket match.”
