Priyanka Chopra who acted in Kaminey with Shahid Kapoor, says she was quite happy to be associated with the actor, even if she has been dismissing reports of a link-up in the past. While Shahid stole the show with his double role in the film, Priyanka also drew accolades for her impressive portrayal of a true blue Marathi mulgi.

Reminiscing at a promotional event recently, Priyanka told us it was one of the hardest roles she has had to play. “Kaminey was my best film this year. It was one I found really difficult to do. The film had Marathi sentences and mannerisms, which were new to me. I didn’t know a word of Marathi. I worked hard to get it right,” she said.
