Should the government bail out Kingfisher airlines?
Absolutely not. This is business,if you lose, you lose and you got to go.The Govt should be bailing out the poor and the underpriveleged. and not the rich who can't run their business and go about posing with young sexy looking chicks.Vijay Mallya should be asked to take out equity from his beer business and bail his ass out.
Govt.should not help bailout plan.Mallaya did not ask bail out idea; but he askes 100% FDI,aviation fuel import. before starting his airlines, he should have thought all of this. if the airlines is running in profit what he willdo?
mallya need not to be announced about the kingfisher bailout, just he is asking to the small discounts in the interest prices.
At the outset, it must be remembered that Kingfisher is a private enterprise n hence it must follow the rules n norms of such an entity
The Flamboyant Mr Mallya lives in a style of his own, which I am afraid is too loud and thus has caused an ire amongst the business community.
He must look at his own resources first before appealing for any assistance
You cant have your cake n eat it too...n that's what he is trying to do
Modesty in richness helps to win friends who would come forward to help him...unfortunately that is sadly missing!!!!
There is no need for the Government to bail him out of a situation which has been created by him!
He needs to clean up his own house before looking around for any help...
Government of India should not bail out king fisher as helping one such would become a bad precendent and otherair lines like jet and spice jet would also need to be bailed out and like that how many could this government help.
No bail out. Is Mallaya ready for profit sharing of his other business with govt ?
no, b cos, tycoon like mallya who spends million of rupees on his lavish lifestyle, a person who a can buy IPL team and F1 teams can handle this pressure situation easily. government should not bail out kingfisher, instead govt should use this money for upliftment of poor
Looking around the globe, we find that too many bailouts in the process like Greece, Italy, Spain and Portugal… I wonder who is next. Mr. Mallya must not ask the government for help; instead should seek the private sector to fund his Airlines. India has switched to free market system long ago and should allow the market place to determine the winners and losers. When you spread too thin into risky ventures without a risk aversion plan, you pay a price. Be successful with one business before venturing into too many. In a global market, you will find hundred of buyers. India must not allow itself to follow Italy, Greece or other nations even in the next five decades. I think Indian government should ask the Airlines to find other sources of financing or allow Mallya to shut down the Airlines.
Why should the government bail out KF? They need to bail out their airlines first.. More appropriate the Govt. should bail out common man on which agenda it has come into power. Though Supreme court has ordered to distribute the grain which is getting rotten in the go-downs and barns of FCI the govt. declined it. see the comment by our great PM who claims he has come from poor back ground."rime Minister Manmohan Singh told a meeting with newspaper editors -- an annual event where the government is traditionally candid about its perceptions -- that he respected the court's "sentiments" and that concessional food should be made available to the poor. However, he suggested that courts should not get into the "realm of policy formulation." Inhuman Government. Everywhere the situation is same. Govts in Europe, USA are bailing out Corporate companies and ignoring the starving cries of the common man.
The cancellation of flights by Kingfisher has left a bad taste among the guests who travel by KF. I think Mr. Mallaya should have foreseen this before. Why should the government bail out KF? They need to bail out their airlines first. If KF could stop operations, it's still better. I am sure other airlines will fill in the vacuum. Mr. Mallaya put his foot in too many businesses like Cricket, Car racing etc. He deserves.
