Peking, Feb. 12: Pakistan has made several approaches to People’s Republic of China, in recent months, for the delimitation of the common border line, but Peking’s attitude has been non-committal and reserved, it is reliably learned here.
China is understood to consider the matter unimportant because, its approximately 200-mile long border with Pakistan runs along an inhabitable area, through which there is practically no intercourse between the two countries. Another reason for Peking’s reserved attitude is believed to be its reluctance to further antagonise India.
