Staying united can bring development in T

This is with reference to the report Telangana dilemma: President’s rule or SRC, December 25. Nobody is bothered about the development of the state. Hyderabad and Andhra Pradesh will lose its prominence if the fight continues. All the projects will go to other states. Even if the state is split, can Mr K. Chandrasekhar Rao manage to get funds and solve all the problems. It will take a 100 years to fulfil the promises made by Mr Rao.

By leaking out the SRC idea, the UPA has eloquently proved their diabolical mind. It is a mischievous plan to cheat the people of Telangana. Let the SRC consider creation of Saurashtra, Kutch, Gorkhaland, Vidharba, Konkan, Bundelkhand and others. But, first announce the formation of Telangana state with Hyderabad as its capital. This is not the time for further talks on Telangana.

The turmoil has been created by political parties for their selfish interests. In the Assembly elections held earlier this year, people stood for united state. Unfortunately, everything changed after YSR’s death. AP needs a charismatic leader who can handle the situation. The attack on the TD MLA, Mr Nagam Janardhan Reddy, is example of the hatred created by politicians.

Both the parties want Hyderabad. My suggestion is to divide Hyderabad into two political divisions. While one division will house all the Andhra offices, the other will have Telangana offices. This will help people to stay united.
