Cash, gas cylinder stolen

Chennai: Thieves broke into a shop in Virugambakkam and made away with a cylinder and cash.

Sethu Madhavan (50) locked his teashop on Arcot Road in Virugambakkam on Sunday evening and went home. When he returned the next morning, he was shocked to see that the front door lock was broken. “On checking, he found that a gas cylinder and Rs 3000 in cash had gone missing,” police said.
