Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh, currently undergoing chemotherapy in US, is fighting cancer with a determined mind, proves his latest post on Twitter.

The Punjab-born has posted a picture of bald-headed self on the micro-blogging site on early Friday morning (Indian time). He wrote, “Finally the hair has gone ! But #livstrong #yuvstrong.”

Replying to his tweet, columnist and blogger Sidin Vadukut (@sidin) said, "Hugs Yuvi. Fight it."

Yuvraj is currently undergoing treatment for lung cancer in the United States. Recently, he thanked all his well-wishers for the prayers and expressed his hope that he would return to playing cricket soon.

According to Yuvraj’s physio Jatin Choudhary, the player will be fit to play by May. “Once he is done with chemo in March, his rehabilitation would be complete by April end and he would be perfectly fit to play in May," Choudhary had said earlier.

Yuvraj had earlier posted on Twitter that he would like to meet cycling legend Lance Armstrong, another sportsman who had fought cancer to make his way back to the track. He also said that he is drawing motivation to fight the disease from the cycling icon’s book It's Not About the Bike: My Journey Back to Life.

Yuvraj has not played competitive cricket since November, when he took part in two of the three home Tests against the West Indies, missing India's current tour of Australia.

Yuvraj was unavailable for the ongoing triangular one-day series in Australia and also opted out of the Twenty20 Indian Premier League (IPL), which starts in April.
