K’town and T’wood actors are gearing up for the Chennai Rhinos and Telugu Warriors match this weekend in CCL. The celebrity cricket league has been well received by the audience as they get to watch their favourite stars playing cricket. It is an important match for both the teams. Due to strike, Tamil actors were not shooting for more than 10 days. So they had solid time to practise for the match. Hope the defending champions Chennai Rhinos rock CCL this time too.

Neetu set for T-town comeback
Neetu Chandra is all set to make a comeback to T-town. It’s been quite a gap since her Telugu flick, Satyameva Jayathe, in 2008. The Bollywood starlet made an entry into South India’s film industry with the Telugu film, Vishnu, and consolidated her place there with Godavari. She moved to Kollywood and claimed her fame with films like; Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai and Sandey Sei.

“She was always open to working in Telugu films but nothing exciting came her way during the last few years,” says a source close to the actress. Was she thumbing down glam-centric roles? “The glamour quotient is an integral part of commercial cinema but we are looking for roles that will also have some scope for performance,” he adds. Going by the trend of glam roles, even for T-town A listers, Neetu may have to defer her comeback plans for a bit.
