Word on the street has it that star, Naga Chaitanya could possibly reprise the role of Tamil star Arya in the remake of the Tamil hit Vettai. Rumour also has it that producer Bellamkonda Suresh has bought the rights of the film for a whopping `3 crore! Even more interesting is the news that he is planning to cast Nagarjuna’s son in a fiery role of a character that settles scores of his cop-brother.

“It’s an interesting story revolving around two siblings who have contrasting personalities,” says a crew member. If Chaitanya accepts, it could be his first remake and he will join the ranks of Venkatesh and Nagarjuna who have tasted huge success with Tamil remakes. Could we be witnessing Naga Chaitanya chalking out a new path for himself?
