After playing a simple medico in Snehithudu, actress Ileana will be seen in a grey role in next film Devudu Chesina Manushulu.
“It’s challenging to explore a dark shade.” she says. With Ileana’s resolve to experiment, let’s hope the film merchants are listening!
Lovely stuck in Istanbul
The crew of Telugu film, Lovely, are stuck in Istanbul under heavy snowfall and are shooting in -16 degree weather, but are still reluctant to pack up.
The unit arrived in Turkey on January 25 and shot at various locations such as Akhisar, Kastomonu and Kheysri before reaching Istanbul city, but the inclement weather dampened their spirits.
Despite the heavy snowfall and dipping temperatures, the unit intends to stay back and return on February 4 after wrapping up the song sequences.
“Luckily, the unit is safe but the low temperature is causing problems. Still, actors Aadi and Anchal, director Jaya and choreographer Bhaskar are in good spirits and would like to wrap up shooting since we can’t afford a break,” says producer B.A. Raju.
After Dookudu, this is the second Telugu film to be shot in Istanbul. “We wanted to capture virgin locales, including some vast desserts and parks to offer the audience visually appealing songs,” he adds.
