Besides producing and acting, Prakash Raj turned over a new leaf with his venture Dhoni, but is unable to draw huge initials.

The story of a widower, who fights against the grade-obsessed system and belatedly understands his son’s passion for cricket, is running with a meagre viewership of 20 to 30 per cent. However, a member in the production team is optimistic.

He says that the flick was well received and that such thematic films take time to pick up, unlike a film with a regular star. He added that the movie is riding on word-of-mouth publicity and that chances of picking up are bright.
