Sneha was the first actor to be committed to Kochadaiyaan after the film was officially announced. She was to play Rajini’s sister.
Now, the latest buzz is that Sneha has opted out of the project citing date problems. Instead, Soundarya has roped in the US-based Rukmini, who was launched by Bharathiraja in Bommalaattam.
Close sources have informed that the dates given by Sneha initially could not be utilised by director Soundarya.
But later, when they were ready to roll for an important scene with Rajini which were to be shot using the motion capture technique, Sneha was in Australia for an event to which she was already committed.
Since, an entire group of Hollywood technicians was here for the crucial sequences, Soundarya had no choice but to replace Sneha with Rukmini.
