
Kebabs are a great food for all occasions! You can make them with meat, veggies or a combination of both.
The lip-smacking varieties of Mughlai, Persian and Arabian grills are famous and kebabs can incorporate beef, lamb, chicken, fish and seafood. Vegetarians can indulge in favorites like Hariyali Paneer Tikka and Chatpata Aloo.
Try these at the Indo-Arab Grill Fest which will be on till 12th February at the Oberon Food Court, Panampilly Nagar. Here is an easy to make kebab recipe using mutton and exotic spices.
Ingredients:
Minced Mutton — 200gm
Mint — 5gm
Coriander laeves — 10gm
Onion — 50gm
Black Pepper — 5gm
Black Salt — 8gm
Kasauri Methi — 10gm
Mustard oil— 20ml
Kewda water — 5ml
Ginger — 10gm
Garlic — 15gm
Method:
* Mince the mutton finely and marinate it with mint, onion, coriander, garlic, ginger, pepper, salt, mustard oil and kewda water.
* Mix all the ingredients together and keep aside for 20 minutes.
* After the requisite 20 minutes shape the kebabs into a round shape and grill them.
* This delicacy is best served with Salad and nan bread.
