The Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examinations this year will be held from March 12 to 24, from 1.45 pm to 3.30 pm.
There will be no examination on Friday. The results will be announced by May 16.
This was decided at a meeting of the general education department here on Tuesday.
This year 4,70,779 students registered for the examinations, spread over 2,778 centres in Kerala, 10 centres in the Gulf and nine in Lakshadweep.
The state government would collect `10 as fee for the SSLC model examination, to be held from February 13 to 21.
The IT practical for SSLC will be held from February 24 to March 5. The meetings to finalise the scheme of valuation will be held from March 27 to 30. The valuation will be held in 54 centres from April 12 to 20.
The general education department meeting also finalised 60 days’ training programmes for school teachers spread over two-and-half years.
