Traffic will be diverted for three days from February 9 to 11 on Eluru Road due to the Gunadala Mary Mata annual festival.
The city commissioner of police, Mr N. Madhusudan Reddy, said in a press release on Tuesday that vehicles passing from the police control room towa-rds Ramavarappadu will be diverted via Chuttugu-nta, Mogalrajpuram, Siddhartha Academy, AMMA kalyana mandapam, ESI hospital to reach Ramavarappadu.
Vehicles coming from Ramavarappadu to the city will be diverted via ESI hospital road, Machavar-am police station, Siddhartha academy, Visa-landhra road and Chuttug-unta and reach the Eluru road.
Vehicles coming from Kreesturajapuram to the Gunadala shrine will be diverted towards Gangireddula dibba.
City buses, cards, autorickshaws and two-wheelers will be allowed only upto Padavalarevu on Eluru Road. Vehicles will not be permitted beyond Padavalarevu. Parking is provided on the BRTS Road for vehicles which pass via Chuttugunta centre. Vehicles coming to Gu-nadala from Ramavarapp-adu can be parked at ESI hospital road centres and vehicles coming from Kreesturajupuram can be parked at the Gangiredd-ula dibba centre.
The commissioner said that traffic police is taking measures to check inconvenience and traffic congestion during the three days as the Gunadala Mary Maata annual festival will attract a huge number of devotees and pilgrims.
