All is ready for the YSR Congress president, Mr Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s 48-hour deeksha at Dharmavaram from Sunday, seeking a helping hand to weavers from the government.

A huge dais was erected at the government high school along with shamianas and barricades.

Special arrangements were made for media and women. Vehicles coming from other areas will only be allowed to the Saibaba temple and market yard on the outskirts of the town.

The YSR Congress leaders also made arrangements for food, drinking water and medical facilities. They announced that all the kin of weavers who committed suicide, should report at the dais by 12 noon along with photographs of the deceased.

The YSR Congress governing body member, Mr Y.V. Subba Reddy, MLA, Gurunath Reddy, leaders, Mr Visweswara Reddy, Jonna Ramaiah, Mr Pyla Narsimhaiah, Mr Somasekhar Reddy, Mr Erri Swamy Reddy, Ms Kadiri Nirmalamma, Ms Sridevi, Mr Adinarayana, and Mr Kandikunta Hari, inspected the arrangements on Saturday.
