Mother wants to know how Rahul vanished

Mini Raju, the mother of Rahul who went missing in 2005 while he was playing with his friends from Alappuzha town told Deccan Chronicle that they were planning to approach court to continue the CBI investigation.

The decision comes, following the CBI’s submission on the closure of the seven-year-old case, citing absence of evidence.

“We have no faith in the so-called investigation of the CBI. I gave details of people I suspected. The CBI didn’t take my account into consideration during investigation.

They never questioned the people I suspected. I have no other choice now but to appear with the CBI withdrawing from the case,” she said.

Advocate K.P. Ramachandran who has shown interest to intervene in the issue for continuing the CBI probe, told DC that he was aware of the CBI’s false interventions in several cases.

“Ms Mini could appear in the court for continuing the CBI probe,” he said. He also added that he would intervene in the case without remuneration, for the cause of justice.
