The corporation administration is sabotaging the Laloor master plan, according to writer Paul Zacharia who inaugurated the indefinite satyagraha by the social activist and former Naxalite, K. Venu, here on Tuesday.

The satyagraha is for ensuring a permanent solution for the waste crisis in the city as it is presently being dumped at Laloor.

He alleged that councillors, officials, political parties, merchants and lorry owners were behind sabotage.
Mr. Venu said that he would remain with the Samara Samiti till a solution to the problem was found.

“I will not give up the satyagraha after four or five days. I have observed such kind of protest even in jail,” he said.
The Samara Samiti chairman, Mr T.K. Vasu, presided over the function which was addressed by Mr K.P.
