In a novel way of celebrating party supremo J. Jayalalithaa’s birthday, an AIADMK students wing functionary will distribute a book containing a question bank besides useful tips from state toppers to plus-two and class 10 students.

On his innovative idea, Mr P. Raghuraman, vice-president, AIADMK students wing, Coimbatore rural, told this paper that he had been doing this for the past six years.

This time, he has prepared the informative book containing a question bank under the common syllabus pattern.

He said the 1,000-page book for plus-two students contains a question bank on Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Computer Science and Commerce, and added that state toppers and experts have given useful tips and suggestions on how to score high marks in public exams.

The book goes a step further and gives information on higher studies after plus-two. There are complete details regarding 163 courses, including ITI courses. In addition, the book details the procedures for availing of education loans from banks.

Mr Raghuraman said the 375-page class 10 book has been prepared on the common syllabus pattern by a panel of education experts and each subject has 10 question papers with detailed answers.

At a function to be held at Kuniyamuthur on Sunday, he said, about 4,500 students drawn from various government schools in the district would be given the book by MLA S.P. Velumani.
