VISAKHAPATNAM: Adani Group has signed an agreement with the Andhra Pradesh government to invest over Rs 9,000 crore in various projects, including the development of a greenfield port at Bhavanapadu area in Srikakulam district in the next five years with an investment of Rs 4,000 crore. Chairman of Adani Group Gautam Adani on Saturday said that Adani Group would also be investing in a multi-modal logistics park.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said that Adani Group will invest wisely and the investments would boost the economy of Andhra Pradesh. There is a lot of scope in growth of ports in the state, he added.
