Hyderabad: NCR Corporation, an US electronics and IT hardware company, plans to target new growth industries such as retail and hospitality for its further growth in India.
“The internet has changed every aspect of our lives in ways not seen since the Industrial Revolution – and that change is accelerating. By 2020, 75 per cent of businesses will have digital transformations underway,” said Ashok Nallam, director, operations, Hyderabad, NCR Software, explaining the opportunities provided by the changing technological landscape.
NCR Corp has inaugurated its state of the-art 1,200-seater research and development (R&D) centre in Hyderabad on Tuesday. Spread across 1,40,000 square feet, the facility is now NCR’s largest R&D centre outside of the United States.
