Creamline's Vizag unit to start production by FY19

When asked about interest in Ruchi Soya, Godrej Agrovet MD B.S. Yadav said: “We have made bid through NCLT''.

Hyderabad: Creamline Diary, a subsidiary of Godrej Agrovet, expects its Vizag plant to start production by the end of this year, according to a top official here on Wednesday.

“We have nine plants including the one in Hyderabad. The Vizag plant, which will be our 10th plant, would add another 1 lakh litres per day to our current capacity of 12 lakh litres per day. We expect it to start by Q4 of the financial year,” Creamline Dairy CEO Raj Kanwar Singh told media at the sidelines of launching Jersey Thickshakes.

When asked about interest in Ruchi Soya, Godrej Agrovet MD B.S. Yadav said: “We have made bid through NCLT. The CoC probably in a week’s time will open the bids. We are very keen on some parts.”
