New-Gen Honda Jazz spied without Camo ahead of Tokyo Motor Show reveal

Honda’s new Jazz has been spotted without any camo and it looks like a throwback to the second-gen Jazz, which was highly popular in India.
  • New Jazz will be fully revealed at 2019 Tokyo Motor Show, which starts on October 23.

  • Honda’s curvaceous design theme will remind you of second-gen Jazz.

  • Will get Honda’s dual-motor hybrid system.

  • Expected to come to India sometime in late 2020 or early 2021.

Honda lovers can rejoice as the next-generation model of the Jazz is set to be revealed at the upcoming 2019 Tokyo Motor Show, and what’s more, it will remind you of the second-generation Jazz that was much loved in India. We can say this because we have come across a picture of the fourth-gen Amaze on the internet.

The picture only shows the front-end of the car but that is enough for us to realise that Honda has time-travelled to the past, instead of the future, to find design inspiration for the new 2020 Jazz. The curvaceous design of the headlamps instantly takes your mind back to the first Jazz we got in India compared to the sharp-looking current one.

It has similarities with the current third-gen Jazz too. The moustache-like front grille, that has a thick chrome bar running across its face, has been lifted straight from the current-gen Jazz, with minor modifications, which is also present in other Honda vehicles. According to the spy shots, the rear profile will feature wrap-around tail lamps. On the inside, Jazz is expected to have a minimalistic layout with a digital instrument cluster and a large touchscreen screen.

While we were only able to catch a glimpse of the upcoming Jazz’s front-end, it will soon be revealed in flesh. Honda had already announced that it will offer the new Jazz with a brand new dual-motor hybrid system, which is likely to find its way to the upcoming City as well.

We expect Honda to bring the new Jazz to India, sometime late in 2020 or early 2021. Stay tuned to Cardekho.com for more updates from the upcoming 2019 Tokyo Motor Show.
