Royal Enfield Continental GT 750cc launch in March 2017

The 750 cc iteration will take on the Harley Davidson Street 750, upon launch next year.

">Royal Enfield is all set to bring on the Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 cc variant in March 2017. The company hasn’t confirmed the same yet though. The 750 cc iteration will take on the Harley Davidson Street 750, upon launch next year.

The Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 cc will be powered by a two-cylinder, 750 cc motor that will likely be tuned to make around 45 to 50 bhp of peak power. Besides the official confirmation on the launch, neither has the name been confirmed yet.

In July, the Continental GT 750 cc was spied, when it was testing in the UK. By its looks, it looked similar to the current Continental GT model. The suspension will likely be retained with the front telescopic forks suspension and the Paioli twin gas charged shock absorbers for the rear.

It will also bring dual exhaust pipes for the big motor that will drive power to the vehicle. The current Continental GT model in the Indian market gets power from a 535 cc motor that makes 29 hp of power.

">Royal Enfield will also begin production of the Continental GT 750 cc from its new plant at Vallam Vadagal, beginning from the second quarter of 2017. The facility is located at around 7 kilometers from RE’s Oragadam plant in the outskirts of Chennai. So, the Continental GT 750 cc will likely be one of the first RE products to roll out from the new facility.
