It was Terrible Tuesday for our nasty neighbours at the IPL auction. But they were
served right. Why should Pakistanis be allowed to make money in our country while their state sponsors terror across India? The snub to Pakistan (none of its 11 players were bid for) is a tribute to all those who lost their lives in the numerous attacks engineered by people from across the
border.
They say sports and politics do not, or should not, mix. Impossible. Sporting gestures hold good only when they are reciprocated, and Pakistan is a serial offender.
The players’ reaction to not being picked by any of the teams has been thoroughly
unsportive to say the least. Instead of accusing the BCCI and the Indian government of plotting against them, they would do well to impress upon the authorities in their own
country the dangers of a certain state policy.
The IPL owners have sent a clear message. Players from Pakistan are not welcome
against the backdrop of persistent scheming against India by their government. Thank
you.
Also, to say that the tournament will lose its sheen in the absence of Pak players is
absurd. Cricket, especially the Twenty20 version of it, does not have the time to think about players who are not on the field. We have to get the best of what is available, and we will.
Bye, bye, Pak. You are not missed.

Pak IPL players play here as individuals and do not represent their country. Sporting ties and cultural exchanges solidify the interaction with the aam janta. If we do not want any relations with them, then why do we bother to screen our movies there and make money off it? Why do we export stuff to them? The IPL does not represent India nor do the Pak players, their country, when they play in the IPL.
the problem here is we indian people have a wrong impression about pakistan and its people. I had the same untill i went overseas and to my surprise the poeple of pakistan are just opposite of what we think about them. Those pakistani people irrespective of a hindu or muslim do anything to help you. You call a pakistani at 12 midnight and he will be at your doorstep to help you. They share food with us. The media always potrays a wrong side of pakistan same as the pakistani media. The Politics are ugly in pakistan but not the people. They are friendly in nature. Pakistan is also facing the terror attacks almost everyday so who will they blame the bad guys or the common man. In the IPL case why do the sponsors hammered the pak players? do the players have anything to do with those terrorist attacks. As a indian crazy cricket lover i dont like this kind of treatment given to players from one country.
Pakistan is not punched! Cricket game is punched! Pakistan players are punched for no mistake of theirs!
Dudes, whatever the reason, everyone at the bottom of our hearts do know that Pakistan govt does support terrorist activities. I am 1,000 times happy that they are our of the tournament. It's more of a picture that they have been snubbed from our country. I as a true Indian cricket fan love to watch IPL and I care a damn if Pakistan players are part of it or not. I have lot better things to do in my life and other great players to watch when it's time to watch cricket. And it's evident that they are making a huge fuss about this. Look at the attitude that the whole country is crying like babies for not being selected. Hello.. Pakistani cricketers, get some life and try making money in another way and start coming up with better ideas to improve your cricket and not bother abt what happens in India coz we Indians hardly care a damn about you. Finally this is my saying: "doodh mangoge tho kheer denge... hindustan mangoge to chir denge."
That's what your type does to let our India... and its its culture... down. Our culture teaches us "Athiti dewo bhava:.
Let's send our brothers and sisters to Australia, have them killed, and let Australian players play in India. That would justify your so called "Salute" to the people who died. Will we? Nay! definitely not, we sure are a bunch of hypocrites riding high on age old beliefs.
