Nov. 29: The online Common Admission Test for admission to the Indian Institutes of Management and other B-schools was hit by technical glitches for a second successive day on Sunday, with the exam being put off in 24 centres across the country.
The snags affected over 3,000 students at test centres in Delhi, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Ghaziabad, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur and Varanasi. In Bengaluru, over 400 students could not take the test.
Sunday was Day 2 in the 10-day exam schedule.
In some centres in Bengaluru, students had to wait for over three hours before technical issues were sorted out.
There was confusion at Garden City College of Science and Management Studies, with several students showing up to take the test despite a notification on Saturday by Prometric, the agency that is conducting the online test, that the college could not hold the exam till the glitches are fixed.
