Facebook-owned WhatsApp will soon be releasing an update, which supports the much-anticipated video calling feature in group chats. WhatsApp recently announced that it has reached 1.5 Billion active users and crossed 200 Million users in India as well.

Spotted by WABetaInfo, this feature is introduced in WhatsApp’s beta version 2.18.39. This new feature might initially roll out to Android users first later to iOS and Windows platforms. As per the reports of this new video calling feature, a user can add up to three other users in a group video call. However, switching between group video call to audio isn’t available.

After the update being released, a user can see a ‘add people’ icon in the app, where a user can add the three participants at once.

Whatsapp may also add stickers similar to Facebook’s Messenger app. A new WhatsApp Stickers Packs store might be featuring in the app, where the user can add desired stickers. This store icon can be visible beside the ‘gif’ icon in the app. The store will be divided into two sections, 'Featured' and 'My', where users can browse, download, view and delete the stickers.

The company recently launched the "WhatsApp for Business" app, which is targeted for businesses and helps them connect with their customers. Companies like BookMyShow already started utilising this app for the consumers.
