Kolkata: Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Shikhar Dhawan will be a big miss for India during the second Test against Sri Lanka after the duo opted out for personal reasons. While Dhawan’s reason for the miss has been unknown, Bhuvneshwar is set to get hitched with fiancée Nupur Nagar on 23rd November in Meerut.

The two, who have formed a close relationship while playing for the national team and Indian Premier League (IPL) team Sunrisers Hyderabad, indulged in an epic marriage banter in a video posted by the Delhi batsman on Instagram.

Dhawan: Lo ji humara ek sher kal joru ka ghulam ban jaega. Isse puchte hai ki Motichoor ka Ladoo jo khae vo pachtae ya jo na khae vo pachtae (One of our teammates is going to become a slave after marriage. The one who has Motichoor ladoo (the sweet of marriage) regrets, while the one who doesn’t also regrets. So let’s ask him how does he feel?

Bhuvneshwar: There is no excitement as such as I was on national duty till now and all the preparations are done by the families. So, I will only get to see how it feels when I reach home on Tuesday. Whatever, I have learned from these players (referring to Dhawan), I can say that it is quite a good and happy feeling

Dhawan: After marriage, your going to serve your partner as a slave. What do you have to say about that?

Bhuvneshwar: There’s nothing like that. I feel it's true love.

The right-arm pacer will host a grand reception for his teammates at a Delhi hotel on November 30th, which will also be attended by top officials from the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association and BCCI.
