K T Rama Rao announces Rs 5 crore for Central library

Minister K.T. Rama Rao got trolled on Twitter after he said that Hyderabad had 500 per cent more rainfall.

Hyderabad: Minister K.T. Rama Rao, who is reviewing city constituencies, inspected Musheerabad and Sanathnagar on Tuesday and announced '5 crore to develop the City Central Library at Chikkadpally.

He said the library would be developed as a modern digital facility and a skill development centre would be set up there. It would also provide facilities for candidates preparing for competitive examinations.

He said the vacant space available at the Domalguda market would be used to construct a municipal circle office. The market at Chikkadpally would be replaced with a five-floor structure.

A  concrete retaining wall would be built along the nala from Viceroy Hotel till the Musim and a separate pipeline installed to ensure sewage near Viceroy Hotel does not join Hussainsagar.
