Bengaluru: The three day Organics and Millets 2018, International Trade Fair (ITF) will began from Friday at the Bengaluru Palace.

The event offers an excellent platform for farmers, buyers, sellers and exporters of organic produce and millets. It also facilitates organic product processors, manufacturers of farm equipment and others to showcase their products and expertise in organic and millet related areas. The fair also has a lot to offer for the public, where various discussion, demonstrations and contests will be held to bring about an awareness on the health benefits about millets.

Addressing a press conference, G. Satish, Commissioner for Department of Agriculture, said, "The state government’s Organics and Millet call is being answered by farmers across the country. Overlooked since the ‘Green Revolution’ of the 1960s, these forgotten food grains making a comeback.”
