Andhra Pradesh: IOWA to open its campus

The campus will be a hub for advanced research in agricultural engineering.

Visakhapatnam: After partnering with Andhra Pradesh to set up first-of-its-kind Mega Seed Park in the state, the Iowa State University (ISU) has decided to open its own campus to boost agricultural research. This was revealed by an ISU Professor at the AgTech Summit, who spoke about how research in the field of agriculture could help in increasing the seed production and crop output.The campus will be a hub for advanced research in agricultural engineering. It may introduce two-degree programmes. The Department of Agricultural and Bio-systems Engineering at ISU is one of the most reputed places in the world for its research and innovation works.
